“Carlos is by far the best guy to put you on trophy fish”

Caught more fish than can count. Most well over 30″.
40″ my biggest but it got dwarfed by my wife’s 43″ monster. All the newbies to fishing got trophies !!!

“Awesome day fishing”

Outdoor adventures took my boyfriend and I out for a day of fishing despite the fact that two people cancelled and they usually take 4 people minimum. It was a fantastic 6 hours including a great shore lunch, all homemade…

“Fishing Adventure”

Recently our family made a first trip to Yellowknife. Carlos took us out on an 8 hour boat trip searching for Northern Pike. We shared the boat with 2 other fishers and everyone caught some great fish. I caught 2 fish over 40 inches – a 42 inch and a 44 inch Pike…

“Awesome Adventure”

Our group of 4 ladies recently visited Yellowknife and had the good sense to book some time with Carlos and his Outdoor Adventures. . . Everything was so good! He was excellent teaching everyone to cast properly on our fishing trip and all 4 girls caught a lot of pike so we were all thrilled. All in all, he made our trip very memorable with his good humour and great tales. Highly recommended!

“Unbelievable Pike Fishing–Chance of a Lifetime”

A friend and myself had two days to spend in Yellowknife coming home from a hunting adventure in August, and booked Carlos with Yellowknife Outdoor Adventures to take us on two 8 hour fishing trips. They turned out to be unbelievable. He showed us amazing scenery, and gave us the opportunity and appropriate gear to catch the pike of a lifetime.

“Awesome experience”

We chose the 2 hour snowmobile trip on great slave lake and the experience was A grade from start to finish. Friendly pick up from our hotel. Heaps of new warm clothes provided. Snowmobiles ready to go and fast ( we did 60 mph/ 100kph). Great hot chocolate stop in very nice lodge with amazing views and fire. lots of photo stops. Just realty well done.

“See the north, up close!”

We booked a four hour boat trip with Yellowknife Outdoor Adventures that was billed as a sightseeing, bird-watching tour around the Northern Arm of Great Slave Lake. It was all of that! Our tour guide, Carlos, showed us islands and eagles, regaled us with stories about Yellowknife and its history and personalities, the mining industry, and to top it off he cooked us a wonderful shore lunch!

“Excellent, fantastic and trustworthy”

Anyone considering a trip to Yellowknife I am highly recommending this organization: Yellowknife Outdoor Adventures. Carlos, the owner and the guide is excellent. Filled with interesting stories, knowledge of the surrounding environment, history and legends about Yellowknife and aurora borealis.

I took the Aurora borealis viewing tour, two nights by snowmobiles to the cabin to watch the aurora, city tour, ice road tour and gallery tour during the day.
I was lucky, get to see the aurora all three nights. Snowmobiles was excellent, Carlos supply you with all the necessary equipment and clothing you will need for the trip. Really get to experience true feeling of the Canadian north with Carlos as he keeps his groups nice and small and his cabin provides very warm and welcomed atmosphere.

“Fantastic experience, wonderful guide”

Wonderful afternoon on the lake, Carlos was an entertaining, enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide, our group had no experience of fishing before, but he made us feel like experts by the end of the day. Highly recommended!
