2-hour snowmobile day tour

This adventure kicks off on the scenic shores of Great Slave Lake, where you’ll glide along the coast and weave through numerous islands. This journey offers a firsthand look at the ancient Precambrian shield’s terrain, and you may even spot tracks from local wildlife such as wolves, otters, wolverines, lynx, coyotes, and smaller creatures, lasting about 45–50 minutes.

Enjoy a cozy stop at our Aurora Island Lodge for some warm hot chocolate and cookies. Take the opportunity to snap panoramic shots of the breathtaking winter landscape from our elevated deck. If the chill gets to you, warm up beside our wood stove.

Next, we set off toward the boreal forest, cutting through bush trails and passing marshes, willow flats, spruce stands, and small ponds — a feast for the eyes. Our journey circles back to Yellowknife, completing this immersive experience in nature’s beauty.
